When I was a young man, I wanted to change the world.
I found it was difficult to change the world, so I tried to change my nation.
When I found I couldn’t change the nation, I began to focus on my town. I couldn’t change the town and as an older man, I tried to change my family.
Now, as an old man, I realize the only thing I can change is myself, and suddenly I realize that if long ago I had changed myself, I could have made an impact on my family. My family and I could have made an impact on our town. Their impact could have changed the nation and I could indeed have changed the world.

He voices my thoughts/sentiments so well. Simple and easy. Glad to have such an influential and powerful person as a kindred spirit.
All you is need is love. But if you know the true definition of love you know that it comes along with other things.
Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet, mutual, confident, and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses.
So in actuality - All you need is love, faith, trust, forgiveness, and the understanding that through it all we are all our own person.

Yes, I went to NYU and Yes, I’ve been traveling a lot but…for the record, i am not rich. at least not financially. i’m actually quite the opposite. i just decided i wasn’t going to let that stop me. I’ve worked hard for every trip and travel I’ve enjoyed these past few years and I’m quite proud of myself. All the while, I’ve supported myself throughout high school and college and i haven’t stopped working since. I didn’t have an easy early childhood, i’ve had no such thing as financial backup from parents, and i may not have financial stability or security but i am secure in the fact that i know i will always find a way to make it work and i am Happy. Although, it hasn’t been sunshine and daises all the time, i will say, that God has given me so many opportunities, encouragements, and blessings in so many different forms along the way. I’m not bitter over the past, just happy that God has shaped me the way He did. I could have turned out 1,000 shades of wrong but He was merciful and watched over me.
